When I found my parents' old 8mm camera, I shot my first film. Parts of the film needed to be re-arranged to tell a better story. This is when I first learned production.

In my 15 years of working in different areas of video production, I have been behind cameras, solved situations on how to get “the shot”, as well as providing customer service working for a video production company, television station, sports production and freelancing on corporate projects.

My career spans videography, video production, video editing, in team settings or independently, for corporate communications projects, sports production, branding initiatives and the production of social media content.

I volunteered my skills for the non-profit, Mariner's Inn, to edit for their project, the SHE Awards. This included editing stand up video of participants, adding pre-shot video packages and designing and executing motion graphics.

FREELANCE SPORTS PRODUCTION CAMERA OPERATOR/FIGHTING IRISH MEDIA

September 2018 - January 2020

Operate variety of different cameras, including ENG, Studio and Robo-cams for use in broadcast or in-arena scoreboard presentation. I have shot football, basketball, volleyball and hockey. Most notably, was on the in stadium crew for the 2019 NHL Winter Classic.

Edited short film "The Ballerina, the Shoemaker and His Apprentice" for Zac Productions. Used many of the tools from the Adobe Creative Cloud to create clear story for audience.

FREELANCER, BREW HA HA CAFE PROMOTIONAL PROJECT

September - October 2017

I wrote the script, shot the video, edited the video, and presented the finished project to owner of the cafe. Gained experience in building shot sequences both in the field and in the edit bay.

Part of the Communication Team for the Ripple Effect Initiative campaign. Captured on camera key people, edited video packages for social media and viewing by congregation. Motion graphic creation and lower third creation was part of the package.
